Naturalization

The County Clerk maintains naturalization records for the years 1795 through 1952. These records can include the following: a Certificate of Arrival, Declaration of Intention and a Petition. Certification of these records are available for a fee of $10.00, payable to the Queens County Clerk in cash (in-person transactions only), certified check or U.S. postal money orders.

Due to the age and condition of these documents, requests for records searches may only be performed by our staff.

The fee for the Certification of Naturalization Records is $10.00 for each individual searched. The fee for a search is $10.00. This fee covers a two-year period. If more years need to be searched, an additional $5.00 is required for each additional two years requested.

Mail your request, including the required fee, individual's name and the years to be searched, with a self-addressed stamped envelope to:
