This Help Center lets people without a lawyer create and file petitions all in the same room. If you don’t have a lawyer, you can meet with Volunteer Attorneys, talk with Family Legal Care representatives, receive copies of court orders, and appear before a Court Referee.

At Legal Hand, trained community Volunteers, who are not lawyers, provide free information, assistance, and referrals to help people resolve issues that affect their lives in areas like housing, family, employment, immigration, domestic violence, consumer and public benefits issues and try to prevent problems from turning into legal actions. There are no eligibility requirements, and all are welcome.
