Associate Justice L. Priscilla Hall Retires

Today we wished a fond farewell to Associate Justice L. Priscilla Hall, who retired from her service as a jurist effective March 9, 2018. Justice Hall served with distinction on the Second Department bench for nine years, and served New York City and New York State as a jurist for more than 30 years.

As Justice Hall noted in remarks delivered at a breakfast organized by her chambers staff, members of all of her families – her church family, her Kings County family, her Appellate Division family and the Hall family, to name a few – all assembled to partake of a delectable feast and to celebrate the retiring jurist’s over 30 years of judicial excellence. We wish Justice Hall well in the next chapter of what so far has been a life of dedication to the law and to public service.
