The Appellate Division, First Judicial Department, as part of the New York State Unified Court System, is fully committed to complying with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals on the basis of disability, and to ensuring equal access to the court system for all those who wish to use it. In furtherance of this goal, this Court has designated Victoria Choy, Deputy Clerk of the Court, to serve as its ADA liaison, to be contacted, in advance, if possible, when reasonable accommodations on the basis of disability are needed.
