Language Access and Court Interpreters
The NYS Unified Court System Office of Language Access website has contains resources for courts, litigants and attorneys regarding procedures for accessing interpreter services, as well as materials in multiple languages. It also contains policies and procedures governing interpreters and information about becoming interpreters.
Office For Justice Initiatives:
Hon. Edwina Mendelson, Deputy Chief Administrative Judge for Justice Initiatives, oversees the Access to Justice, Raise the Age (juvenile delinquency), Court Improvement and other programs in the NYS Unified Court System.
