The Appellate Division Law Library is in the M. Dolores Denman Courthouse, located at the corner of East Avenue and Chestnut Street in downtown Rochester, New York. We are open to the public Tuesday through Thursday from 10-4.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Law Library is to provide legal information to the Appellate Division, to the Rochester metropolitan region, and to the entire legal community of the Fifth, Seventh, and Eighth Judicial Districts. Our role is unique as the only appellate-level court library in New York State which serves both an active judiciary and practicing bar, and is also open to the general public. Through our services, the Library strives to be one of the best court libraries in the nation.
