Dear Justice:

         The Committee, at its meeting of June 8, 1995, considered your request for an opinion concerning the seeking of compensation by you from the Town for certain services rendered by you in connection with the use of a new computer provided by the Town for use in your court.

         Based on the information provided, the Committee sees no ethical objection to your making a request to the Town for such compensation. The Committee, however, does not address the question of the Town’s obligation, if any, to provide such

compensation.
