         The Advisory Committee on Judicial Ethics, at its meeting of December 5, 1991, considered your inquiry (91-151), concerning whether you may sign for a liquor license in your capacity as an officer of a VFW post. Pursuant to our opinions 88-28 and 88-162, copies of which are enclosed, your name may appear on the liquor license.

         Please be advised that this Committee considered only the ethical questions involved and not any questions of legality.
