Dear Judge :

          This responds to your inquiry (09-98) asking whether you may appear one time on a weekly radio show hosted by a local attorney to explain what the Integrated Domestic Violence Court is and how it operates in your county. The radio host regularly appears before you in various courts in the county. The Committee has previously advised that this type of appearance is ethically permissible subject to certain limitations. Enclosed, for your convenience, are Opinions 02-72 and 00-79 which address this issue and set forth the limitations for this type of appearance.
