Dear Judge :

         This responds to your inquiry (08-159) in which you ask whether you may attend a one-week law and economics course which is part of the [ ].

This Committee has concluded, under similar circumstances, that it is ethically permissible to attend such a program. Please refer to Opinion 96-106, enclosed for your convenience, which addresses this issue.
