           This is in response to your inquiry (03-31) in which you seek the Committee’s guidance as to the appropriateness of your possible participation in what appears to be a religious event taking place in the court house.

           The Committee does not believe it is unethical for you to attend the event or to make a contribution, as requested. However, you should not solicit contributions, financial or otherwise, nor should you in any way promote the attendance or participation of others.
