In a new Diversity Dialogue podcast, two judges with “lived experience” discuss traumatic childhood memories that ultimately brought them to the bench, and their efforts to ensure that the courts and the court system are fair and equitable. Appellate Division Justice Troy Webber and Supervising Family Court Judge (Third Judicial District) Richard Rivera, the co-chairs of the Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission, bring their perspectives to a 30-year effort by the Commission to promote ethnic and racial fairness in the NYS courts.
