App. Div. order of 8/5/21; affirmance; leave to appeal granted by the Appellate Division with certified question; Landlord and Tenant--Rent Regulation--Whether tenants' legal regulated rent should be calculated according to the default formula set forth in Rent Stabilization Code (9 NYCRR) § 2522.6(b); Supreme Court, New York County, granted plaintiffs' motion for summary judgment declaring that their legal regulated rent should be calculated according to the Rent Stabilization Code's default formula and denied defendants' cross motion to determine the amount of use and occupancy; App. Div. affirmed.

LIPIN v DANSKE BANK (184 AD3d 464):
1st Dept. App. Div. order of 6/11/20; affirmance and dismissal; sua sponte examination of whether any jurisdictional basis exists for an appeal as of right; Appeal-- Dismissal; Supreme Court, New York County, among other things, denied defendant's motions to dismiss the litigation and granted plaintiffs' motion for summary judgment in lieu of complaint renewing the 2008 money judgment, and thereafter renewed the 2008 money judgment in favor of plaintiffs against defendant; App Div. affirmed judgment and dismissed appeals from prior orders as subsumed in appeal from judgment.

2nd Dept. App. Div. order of 10/6/21; denial and dismissal; Proceeding Against Body or Officer--Prohibition; App Div. denied CPLR article 78 petition and dismissed the proceeding.
