The New York State Judicial Institute is pleased to sponsor The Pipeline Diversity Initiative (PDI).

The Pipeline Diversity Initiative is an enriching opportunity designed especially for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in exploring the legal profession. The program invites students to dive into the world of law, gaining first-hand insights into law school and potential legal careers.

Throughout PDI, students hear from a diverse group of legal professionals, including judges, attorneys, practicing legal experts, and current law students. These guest speakers provide valuable perspectives on their careers, the paths they took to achieve their goals, and tips on navigating entry into the legal field.

PDI spans multiple days over the course of each school year, allowing students to return for additional learning experiences and activities. Each session includes interactive discussion and activities designed to deepen students understanding of various legal practices and career paths within the field.
