Updated: March 8, 2024 Associate Judge Michael J. Garcia hires personal law clerks for one or two-year clerkships. Judge Garcia is accepting applications for clerkships for the August 2025 – August 2026 term. Applicants may submit applications and be interviewed at any time, and clerkship offers may be made at any time.Preferred applicants have exceptional academic standing and will have at least one year of legal employment by the time their clerkship commences. Applications must include a current resume, writing sample, law school transcript, and at least two letters of reference from law professors or legal employers. If possible, please submit a writing sample that has not been edited, or has been only minimally edited, by others. Complete applications must be emailed to garciachambers@nycourts.gov |
