• I have served as an Erie County Judge for 19 years. I preside over the most serious cases, such as murder, rape and robbery. Before this I served as a Buffalo City Court Judge for 7 years. I began my legal career as a trial lawyer in the Erie County District Attorney's Office. I did this for 10 years and tried mostly homicides. For the last 10 years I have also served as an Acting Supreme Court Judge from time to time trying civil cases from the Supreme Court Calendar.
