Oral History Series

During June 2021, the official anniversary month of the Commission’s establishment as a permanent entity in New York State Courts, the Commission hosted an Oral History Series featuring excerpts from interviews with several of the pioneers who helped create and establish the Commission.

The interviews were posted daily on the Amici podcast site. The interviews were a way to acknowledge and celebrate the Commission members, judges and historians who were instrumental and knowledgeable about the development of the Commission as an Oral History series over a four-week period. The Commission would like to thank John Caher Senior Advisor for Strategic/Technical Communications, who was instrumental in conducting the interviews and posting the Oral History Series.
