Mentee Check-In

On December 1, 2020, the Commission held a virtual Mentee Check-In for the judicial mentees in the Franklin H. Williams Judicial Mentor Program. The program focused on building a successful mentoring relationship. Panelists were Hon. Lillian Wan, Acting Supreme Court Justice, Kings County Supreme Court, Civil Division, and Hon. Seth Steed, Judge, New York City Civil Court. The panel was moderated by Hon. Joanne D. Quiñones, Acting Supreme Court Justice, Kings County, and Chair, FHW Judicial Mentor Program. All were former mentees of the FHW Judicial Mentor Program and discussed their journeys to the bench, including the importance of mentoring in ascending to the bench. VIDEO LINK
