Periodically, members of the Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission meet with leaders in the legal profession to discuss issues of diversity and racial and ethnic fairness. In 2019, the Commission met with Susan DeSantis, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the New York Law Journal. The meeting discussed the portrayal of attorneys and judges of color in Journal articles.
