Press Conference to Promote Court Officer Exam

Hon. Doris Ling-Cohan with Press Conference Participants

On February 15, 2020, Franklin H. Williams Judicial Commission member Hon. Doris Ling-Cohan organized a press conference in Flushing, New York to publicize the upcoming court officer examination. At the press conference, she emphasized the benefits of employment within New York State courts. Justice Ling-Cohan, who recently retired as Associate Justice of the Appellate Term, First Department, believes these efforts will contribute to more diversity in the courts, especially for the Asian Pacific American community. The press conference was attended by media from print, television and radio.
