The new home of the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, is found in the renovated 103-year-old Cutler Building and new adjoining space to house the library and the two courtrooms. The Law Library on the first floor spans 50,000 square feet and holds 250,000 volumes making it the largest court library in the state. The second-floor courtrooms are equipped with skylights, closed circuit televisions and are constructed of Ani Gre African wood and Vermont marble. An elliptical curved stairway with a glass railway graces the main lobby. Underground parking is provided for all court employees.
