Court Schedule
Court is in session each weekday at 9:00 a.m. for criminal
cases.
Drug Court is held on
alternate Tuesday afternoons at 2 p.m., and is open to the
public.
Mental Health Court is held on alternate Thursday afternoons at 2 p.m., and is open to the
public.
Small Claims cases are held every other Friday
at Noon. Meetings are with trained mediators from the Northern
New York Center for Conflict Resolution. Often parties can
reach a very satisfactory resolution themselves with the help
of an expert mediator. If this is not successful, then a trial
is scheduled with the Judge at a time & date convenient
for both parties.
Summary Proceedings brought by landlords are
scheduled Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1:30 p.m.
