The Civil Court operates a Resolution Assistance Program (RAP) to support and assist unrepresented litigants - people who do not have an attorney - during their court appearances in landlord-tenant cases.

This Program recruits, trains, and supervises student volunteers to provide non-legal support to landlords and tenants during hallway negotiations and settlement conferences in court.
